Last Updated: 2024/11/10, White palm wilted for the following four reasons. The first light is inappropriate, it is necessary to maintain suitable light, appropriate shading in summer. The second humidity is too low, need to spray, sprinkle water to improve the humidity. The third is that the fertilizer is too thick or the use of raw fertilizer, which needs to be adjusted in time, and water should be poured after fertilization. Finally, the temperature is not suitable and needs to be adjusted to 12-25 ℃.

1. Provide suitable light

(1) specific reason: if the white palm raised indoors is suddenly taken outdoors and sees a very strong light and lasts for a long time, then the leaves may wilt.

(2) solution: take it to a shady place immediately, which may be alleviated soon. In the subsequent maintenance, provide appropriate light in spring, autumn and winter. In summer, the sun should be shaded properly.

2. Increase the humidity

The main results are as follows: (1) specific reason: the growth of white palm needs higher humidity. If the humidity is too low and the air is too dry, it may also wilt the leaves.

(2) solution measures: measures should be taken to improve the humidity in the air, such as spraying water, sprinkling water and so on. In addition, you can also use plastic bags to cover the plants to maintain humidity. However, to take this method, you need to give it some air from time to time.

3. Adjust the type or concentration of fertilizer

(1) specific reasons: if the fertilizer is too thick, or the use of raw fertilizer, it is easy to produce fertilizer damage, making white palm leaves wilting.

(2) solution: be sure to use rotten fertilizer. The concentration should not be too high and thin fertilizer should be applied. In addition, after fertilization, it is best to water once.

4. Adjust the temperature

(1) the specific reason: the temperature is too high or too low. Specifically, when the temperature is higher than 35 degrees and below 5 degrees, the leaves of white palm may wilt.

Solution: adjust the temperature so that it is in the appropriate range, 15 to 25 degrees is appropriate.
