What if the rhododendron leaves turn yellow?
1. Raise the temperature
Reason: in winter, if the rhododendron is kept below 10 ℃ for a long time, or if it is blown directly by the cold wind, it may get frostbite and produce yellow leaves.
Solution: first move it to a place where the indoor temperature is higher than 10 ℃, then cut off the frozen branches and leaves and maintain them slowly.
2. Reduce watering
Reason: if the rhododendron is watered too much, it will cause stagnant water in the soil, which will affect the respiration of the rhododendron root system and prevent it from getting nutrients from the soil. Without the nourishment of nutrients, its leaves are likely to turn yellow.
Solution: raise the flowerpot with a stone, and then put it in a ventilated place to volatilize excess water from the soil. Don't pour too much water in the process of raising it later.
3. Pruning in time
The reason: azaleas grow vigorously and need to be pruned once a year. If there is no pruning, it will grow very luxuriantly. Branches and leaves will block each other, affecting ventilation and light transmission, so that some leaves can not get enough oxygen and light, and then turn yellow.
Solution: prune the azaleas in time. It is best to prune once a year after flowering, cut thinning where it is too close, and cut off sick, thin branches.
4. Pour it with acid water
Reason: Azalea is a flower that likes acidic conditions. If it is watered with alkaline water for a long time, it will produce yellow leaves.
Solution: use acidic water to water it, or add a few drops of vinegar to the water that pours it.
