Chlorophyll in succulent plants is not tolerant to low temperature. After the temperature drops in winter, chlorophyll becomes less and less. New anthocyanins are synthesized to resist the cold winter and enhance the cold resistance of meat as a kind of self-protection.
That's why meat is easy to color in autumn and winter, and it's fun to steal in areas with large temperature differences.
Indoor meat is not easy to change color because the temperature is constant and the temperature difference is small.

The only difference is that the soil is mixed.

Controlling the frequency of watering will slow down the growth of meat and reduce the production of chlorophyll, and the color of meat will only get better and better.

Ventilation can accelerate the evaporation of water and reduce the temperature at the same time.
Indoor than outdoor is not easy to be excellent, mainly because in addition to sunshine, temperature difference, temperature is not enough, ventilation is not good.
So try to choose outdoors if possible, and please pay attention to ventilation indoors.
