Last Updated: 2024/11/05, In places not south or north, Phalaenopsis is not easy to raise, the temperature in winter is low, and the orchid root in the greenhouse is also easy to rot. I have tried the planting material several times, and I think this method is good. 1, the central use of foam and other things that do not conserve water will not rot to facilitate ventilation.

Not south not north place, butterfly orchid is not very good raise, winter temperature is low, into the greenhouse orchid root is also easy to rot, tried several times planting material, think this method is good.

1. The center uses foam and other things that do not retain water and will not rot to facilitate ventilation, and the bottom of the basin also puts small foam for ventilation. There is also a consideration for the central use of foam: the longer the roots, the more it will not work with very small pots, the larger the pots are not easy to dry, and it is easy to rot the roots. The middle does not retain water, dry and wet should be relatively uniform.

2. The dry and wet roots can be observed externally with transparent pots (the rotten roots on the surface are mostly rotten last winter)

3. It can be fixed on the foam with plastic and the like, and it is not easy to shake.

My plant material is plant gold stone + water moss, there are new Zealand bark can also be added, please see the root growth below good bar

Langen likes to stick to the wall of the basin, the inside is not wet, dry and wet at a glance

Because of the limited space, plus like to raise fluorescent Phalaenopsis leaves hanging down in the origin, I also let them flowers and leaves droop, to the office just took the picture.
