In fact, the succulent plants that have just been purchased need to be pruned once, especially the succulent plants purchased online. After a long journey, their roots will definitely be damaged. Therefore, before we put the succulent plants into the pot again, we must prune the roots in advance, so that the succulent plants can better serve the pot and reduce the mortality rate of succulent plants.

When we are just suffering from fleshy, we should first clean up the soil surface attached to the root system, and then check the damage and disease of the root system of the succulent plant. If it is not too big, we can wash the root system with carbendazim solution properly, and then we can prune the diseased root, old root and long side root, and the side root can be controlled between 1-2 cm.

After pruning the roots for succulent plants, they cannot be cultured in pots immediately, because there will be wounds on the roots at this time. If they are directly placed in pots, the wounds are likely to be infected with fungi and bacteria (infected succulent plants are difficult to root, and they are also easy to be infected with black rot in the later stage of the plant). Correct practice: Put the meat after root pruning in a ventilated and cool place (two to three days), wait for the wound to be placed in the pot and then raise it.

Succulent plants that have just been potted cannot receive light immediately, because too strong light accompanied by spring wind is easy to cause sunburn of succulent leaves. Therefore, we had better put the meat in a cool and ventilated place for a period of time before considering the problem of receiving light, and slowly lengthen the time of light.

If the succulent plants show signs of withering at the bottom of their leaves after a period of cultivation, it means that the succulent plants have completely taken the pot!
