Last Updated: 2024/11/08, There are many reasons why the arrow clip occurs. If the temperature is too low, adjust it to 18-20 ℃. If it is caused by insufficient fertilizer, apply fertilizer in time. If it is caused by root injury, trim its roots and replant it. If it is caused by insufficient water, increase watering appropriately.

1. Adjust the temperature

Reason: the orchid grows best at about 20 ℃. If the temperature is too low, below 15 ℃, some of its physiological activities can not be carried out normally, which will cause a lot of problems, such as arrow clamping.

Solution: move the orchid to an environment of 18-20 ℃ for maintenance. During this period, the leaves on both sides of the son can be tied together with a rope, and put it in a dark place, which is more conducive to the extraction of its flowers and arrows.

2. Increase fertilization

Reason: the gentleman orchid arrow needs certain nutrients, if it is not fertilized in time, give it more nutrients, it will be difficult to absorb enough nutrients and clip arrows.

Solution: apply fertilizer to it in time, preferably with phosphorus and potassium. The fertilizer needs to be diluted before application so that its concentration is too high to hurt the flowers. Don't add too much fertilizer at once, but apply it thin and diligently.

3. Root pruning and replanting

Reason: the root of the orchid has been damaged, can not normally draw nutrients from the soil, the lack of plant nutrition, naturally can not draw arrows normally.

Solution: take the whole orchid out of the flower soil, then find its injured and damaged roots, cut it off with a sterilized knife, and then replant it with new soil.

4. Increase watering

Reason: the magnolia needs to consume a lot of water when drawing arrows, if there is not enough water supply, it will not be able to draw arrows normally.

Solution: water it in time, and then keep the soil moist and not dry. Attention should be paid to watering a small amount of water for many times, not too much at a time, lest stagnant water in the soil will damage the roots of the plant.
