Why don't gardenia blossom?
1. Improper watering
Why: watering gardenia too little can cause the plant to lack water and fail to bloom; watering it too much can also cause it to rot and fail to bloom.
Solution: If you usually pour too little water, pour more water for it, but pay attention not to pour too much at a time. If you usually pour too much water, put stones under its flowerpot, and then put it in a well-ventilated environment to slowly maintain. After it recovers, water it scientifically.
2. Improper fertilization
Why: too little fertilizer for gardenia can make it difficult for the plant to bloom because it does not have enough nutrients; too much fertilizer for it can affect its roots and make it difficult for it to bloom.
Solution: If the fertilizer is usually too little, increase the frequency of fertilization, but use diluted fertilizer, preferably fertilizer with higher phosphorus and potassium content. If you usually fertilize too much, rinse the soil with plenty of water, rinse out the excess fertilizer, and then put it in a ventilated place to dry. When it recovers, fertilize it scientifically.
3, improper lighting
Reason: too much sunlight for Gardenia will cause the plant to be sunburned and difficult to bloom; too little light will affect its normal growth and will also make it difficult to bloom.
Solution: If the usual light time is too long, put it in a semi-shady place for maintenance, and reduce the daily light time. If there is a lack of light, put it in a sunny place for maintenance.
