How do quails not die? How to breed quail?
How to raise quails? Do you know? What should be paid attention to in quail breeding? Do you want to know about it? Let's take a look at it.
Breeding of young quails:
It was a young quail before 40 days old. After the little quail comes out of its shell and the hair is dry, it can be raised in a small wooden incubator. A 60 cm × 80 cm wooden box can hold 10-20 small quails. Pay attention to heat preservation in brooding work. Electric lamp, kerosene stove, charcoal brazier or peak nest coal stove can be used for heat preservation. It is better to use electric lights to warm from above the incubator and kerosene stove, charcoal or honeycomb coal below or next to it. Large-scale brooding can use thermal umbrellas, each umbrella can raise 200-300 quails.
Raising small quails:
Quails will run 5-6 hours after they come out of their shells, and they should start eating sooner rather than later. Corn, broken rice, wheat flour and other mixtures are available for eating, and it is better to mix cooked egg yolk. After two or three days, they were gradually transferred to full-price mixed feed. Young quail ingredients are 52% corn, 27% bean cake, 10% fish meal, 5% wheat bran, 5% grass meal, 1% bone meal, 24-25% crude protein, and a calcium-phosphorus ratio of 2:1. Quail likes to eat, but the feed is easy to pollute and deteriorate in summer. For dry feed, add drinking fountains to supply water, and water should be supplied continuously all day long. Feed all day at the beginning, six meals a day after two weeks, and four meals a day after four weeks. It takes about 0.5 kilograms of concentrate to breed a small quail.
Female quail rearing:
Female quail full price mixed beverage ingredient percentage: corn 42, bean cake 33, fish meal 10, wheat bran 3, grass meal 5, shell meal 6, bone meal 1, crude protein 27-28%, calcium-phosphorus ratio 4:1, plus appropriate amount of vitamins and trace elements. Feed dry food 3-4 times a day. Each female quail is fed more than 20 grams of coarse feed, and the egg-feed ratio is about 1:2. Laying quails also like to eat semi-dry and wet paste feed. The laying rate of wet feed is higher than that of dry feed, but it is labor-consuming and troublesome to feed wet feed, and the feed is easy to deteriorate in summer, so it is more convenient to feed dry food plus drinking water.
Strengthening the light management can improve the laying rate. Usually every 20-25 square meters, hang a 60-watt electric lamp at a height of 2 meters, or hang an electric lamp in each cage, requiring 16 hours of light every day and night to prevent darkness from disturbing quails and affecting egg laying. It is appropriate for female quails to lay eggs for one year. If the annual laying rate is about 75%, they can be eliminated from the market as meat quails.
Now that you know how quails are raised, do you think about raising quails yourself? If you want to breed, you can do it as soon as possible.
