Last Updated: 2024/09/20, There are many reasons for the yellowing of the leaves of Cymbidium. If the light is too strong, shade it, if the water is not enough, pour more water, if it is watered too much, it will be ventilated. If it is caused by normal metabolism, you don't need to worry too much. It won't be long before it can recover by itself.

1. Reduce light

Reason: Clivia can't be exposed to sunlight, otherwise its leaves will be burned by strong sunlight and yellow symptoms will appear.

Solution: Use a shade net to shade the clivia orchids, or simply move them out of direct sunlight.

2. Increase watering

Reason: Long time did not water for Clivia, will lead to Clivia lack of water, respiration, photosynthesis and other physiological activities can not be carried out normally, thus making the leaves yellow.

Solution: appropriate amount of timely watering for clivia, when the soil began to dry hair on the water quickly.

3. Reduce watering

Reason: usually too much water, clivia can not absorb in time, excess water will remain in the soil. This leaves roots in the soil submerged in water and unable to get enough oxygen, causing them to switch to anaerobic respiration and produce ethanol, which can damage roots. Once the roots are injured, they cannot absorb nutrients normally, while the leaves lack nutrients and are easy to turn yellow.

Solution: If the situation is more serious, you need to remove the clivia from the soil and plant it separately. If the situation is not so serious, you can put the flowerpot in a ventilated place, dry the water in the soil and reduce watering.

4, no need to deal with

Reason: If Clivia is older, with normal metabolism, there will also be some yellow leaves.

Solution: This situation does not need to be treated more, only needs normal maintenance for a period of time, it can return to normal.
