Take the road of Chinese bonsai culture: shoulder the responsibility of bonsai people!

When we are blinded by foreign culture, we forget that there is a bigger name behind our own name "Chinese".

Chinese culture is broad and profound, which we can never finish learning. But there is also a culture called "intangible cultural heritage", which is gradually forgotten by people, even no one inherits it! Of course, this road is not a simple inheritance, after all, sometimes life is forced, the times are making progress.

There is always a group of people walking this difficult road, for money, for profit, or for dreams? I can't guess or figure it out! If you make me think: I think there should be more responsibility!

In the 12 years since I studied bonsai, I have never paid homage to my master. I have always studied here and there, and I have no ability to buy good bonsai. But I have never forgotten my dream of creating a bonsai of my own. I have been hurt and sweated over the years for bonsai. But I always insist on creating Chinese bonsai.

Slowly come into contact with and see some domestic bonsai organizations. How is the progress of bonsai in our country? Can it be far? Thought-provoking. The greater the fame, the more wealth you accumulate, or the greater the responsibility? Why is the bonsai exhibition getting bigger and more luxurious, but there are always old faces and few new people. Why are all the exhibitors older? are there no young people in our country?

The apprentice pays homage to the master, what the master should do is to better impart skills and put virtue first. Or did the apprentice worship the master and take a shortcut to success? Does money represent art, or is art itself money? It is true that the way to accumulate wealth is important, but there should be a sense of integrity, that is, the responsibility to inherit and carry forward the "intangible cultural heritage".

Bonsai in China is generally affected by the impact of Japanese bonsai, coupled with the increasingly serious domestic bonsai bubble, bonsai in the end gives me the light of hope or greater pressure. Whether it's right or wrong, I don't know!

While we are delighted with how much honor and money bonsai brings to us, we also think more or less about what we have done on the way of inheriting and carrying forward the "intangible cultural heritage"!

When you read this article, you may not be happy, but progress is always going on in friction and public opinion. There are always some things that need to be done and said.

There is only one way for Chinese bonsai culture to go on. It may not be successful, but we must take responsibility!
