Tiger Pilan is a common green plant in our family, many families may have raised it, but there are also many people who can't raise Tiger Pilan well, so the following editor will summarize some experience of tiger Pilan planting. I hope it will be helpful to you.

1. Soil

No matter what kind of green plants we plant, the drainage of the soil should be good, and of course, the soil planted by Tiger Pilan needs to be the same.

Although Tiger Pilan does not have a high demand for soil, it is recommended that we use rotten leaf soil and loose sand. In this way, Tiger Pilan will grow better.

Here are two good soil ratio references: garden soil, rotten leaf soil, sand for 5, 2, 3, or peat, rotten, sand, perlite for 4, 2, 2, 2, 2.

2. Lighting

Tiger Pilan likes sunshine, so when we plant Tiger Pilan, we need to put Tiger Pilan in a place with plenty of light. If it is summer, avoid strong direct sunlight at noon.

If Tiger Pilan is not exposed to enough light for a long time, the growth of Tiger Pilan will not be good. At this time, the leaves will slowly turn yellow. We just need to put Tiger Pilan in a place of astigmatism, and then slowly put it in a place of direct sunlight. It will be much better in a few days.

3. Temperature

The suitable temperature for the growth of tiger skin orchid is 16-30 degrees. In winter, try to avoid indoor temperature below 5 degrees, otherwise tiger skin orchid may be frostbitten.

However, for many central and southern regions, the winter temperature will not be too low, the indoor is a little warmer, and many families also have ground heating and air conditioning, so the temperature is also relatively easy to control.

4. Watering

Tiger skin orchid basin soil needs to be moist and fertile, watering, generally need to wait until the basin soil is dry before watering; watering, do not let water in the basin soil, otherwise it will affect the roots.

In winter, if the temperature is too low, do not water, so as not to freeze the soil in winter, so that Tiger Pilan will be affected by freezing injury.

5. Fertilization

When Hu Pilan is planted, a small amount of fertilizer can be applied once a month, and compound fertilizer can be used. During the growing season, the frequency of fertilization can be slightly higher. On the whole, Hu Pilan does not have a high requirement for fertilizer.

6. Change the basin

Tiger Pilan usually changes the basin once every two years, and standard compost can be used when changing the basin.

The above are some matters that should be paid attention to in planting tiger orchid. If unfortunately, the leaves of your tiger orchid turn yellow, then find the reason, see whether it is due to light or stagnant water, and then solve the problem.

In addition, if the leaves rot, the rotten leaves should be cut off in time so as not to affect the healthy leaves.
