Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Soil: to raise chrysanthemums, use soil with good drainage, rich in humus, loose and fertile soil. Moisture: watering more in summer, keeping the basin soil not too dry in spring and autumn, and controlling water in winter. Lighting: usually put in a semi-overcast place, and move to a place where the sun cannot shine directly in summer. Temperature: usually less than 15-25 ℃, more than 5 ℃ in winter.

1. Soil

The soil for raising flowers requires good drainage, rich in humus, loose and fertile, and can be made by mixing rotten leaf soil with a small amount of fine sand.

2. Moisture

It is necessary to water epiphyllum more in summer, but there can be no stagnant water in the soil, nor can it be drenched in the rain, otherwise it is easy to rot its roots. You can spray it 1-2 times in the morning and evening to increase air humidity. Keep the basin soil not too dry in spring and autumn, control moisture in winter, and then water it after the soil is dry.

Third, lighting

Epiphyllum likes to grow in a semi-shady environment, but it can't be completely out of touch with the sun. When the sun is soft in winter, you need to keep it in the sunny place indoors, and when the sun is strong in summer, you need to put it in a place where it can not be raised by direct sunlight.

4. Temperature

The optimum growth temperature of epiphyllum is between 15-25 ℃. It can be cooled when the temperature is too high in summer. It is best to adjust the temperature to 10-12 ℃ in winter, and the lowest temperature should not be less than 5 ℃, otherwise it will suffer frost damage.

V. matters needing attention

1. Avoid bright lights. Epiphyllum is exposed by strong light, the leaves will become dry, macula, focal edge and other phenomena, so when the sun is too strong to take certain measures to shade it.

2. Drain stagnant water. Because epiphyllum is very afraid of waterlogging, it is best not to let it be drenched by torrential rain. After each rainfall, check whether Rain Water has accumulated in the soil, and if so, drain it.
