1. Soil

Plum blossom has a strong ability to adapt to the soil, can tolerate barren, as long as the soil drainage is good, it can grow well. Generally, we can mix rotten leaf soil, compost soil and sandy soil according to the proportion of 2:2:1 for the culture of plum blossoms.

Second, watering

Watering plum blossoms should be dry and wet. If the soil is not dry, it can not be watered. After the soil is dry, it should be watered thoroughly. In addition, the stagnant water in the basin should be removed when it is rainy, otherwise it is easy to rot the roots.

Third, lighting

Plum blossoms are suitable for growing in places where there is plenty of light. If they grow in places where there is not enough light for a long time, they will become thin, have no spirit, and will not produce many flowers.

4. Temperature

Plum blossom likes warmth and is very cold-tolerant. It can generally withstand-10 ℃, and some cold-tolerant varieties can even withstand a low temperature of-25 ℃. It is also very heat-resistant and can grow at 40 ℃. However, it grows best at 16-23 ℃.

V. matters needing attention

1. Change the basin every year. After a year of cultivation, the soil nutrients in the plum blossom pot are basically exhausted, so it is necessary to replace it with new soil to ensure the supply of nutrients.

2. Pruning in time. When it blossoms for 20 days, it should be pruned in time to cut off the fallen flowers, fallen leaves and diseased branches, so as to increase its ornamental ability while reducing nutrient consumption.
