Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Soil: succulent soil is best used with high permeability and high content of humus and nutrients. Light: be adequate, shade in summer, and see more sun in winter. Moisture: less water, water after the soil is dry. Temperature: it is best controlled within 15-28 ℃.

1. Soil

It is best to use soil with high permeability, high humus and nutrient content in succulent soil. Specifically, coarse-grained perlite, northeast pine needle soil and stone dregs can be evenly mixed according to the proportion of 5:3:1, which can be used for succulent breeding.

Second, lighting

Although succulent plants have different requirements for light according to different species, generally speaking, they still prefer the growth conditions with sufficient light, give them enough light in the growing season, and shade them in summer. see more of the sun in winter.

Third, watering

Succulent plants have a high water content and can survive without much watering, but too much watering will rot its roots, so watering should wait until the soil is dry.

4. Temperature

The optimum growth temperature of succulent plants is 15-28 ℃, which should not be lower than 5 ℃ in winter and 35 ℃ in summer. The tolerance limit mentioned here is in general, which does not mean that the tolerance limit of all succulent species is in this range, so it is better to put it under the condition of 15-28 ℃.

V. matters needing attention

1. Topdressing in time. Succulent plants can not grow without the absorption of nutrients, and the supply of nutrients needs to be fertilized in time. Before topdressing, you need to dilute the fertilizer so as not to burn the plants.

2. Prevention of diseases and insect pests. Even if the succulent plant has no signs of illness, we still need to spray it with some medicine to prevent it from getting sick. Mainly use carbendazim and imidacloprid solution, the concentration is not too high, can be used every two months.
