Techniques of fertilization in Orchid
I often use compound fertilizer and raw drum powder to fertilize orchids.
It is necessary to apply raw powder fertilizer frequently and thinly. One tablespoon per pot, once every 20 to 30 days. Compound fertilizer 20 to 30 grains per basin, should be evenly applied, not to the orchid head. When applied to the orchid head, it is easy to cause fat injury and "sit up straight". I always use liquid fertilizer. The fertilizer applied in the first season is Shenggu retting urine. Mix raw drum powder with 50% urine (50% urine plus 50% water) for two to three months. When retting, add some bone meal, or light fish meal, or buy some dead fish to mix people in the market. Turn to autumn, I will add rice water, rice water is washed rice water and precipitate pulp, not too thin.
The fertilization of orchids mainly depends on the condition of orchids. Look at the leaf color fertilization is very important, the leaf color is light green with yellow wax color, blue strong, the blue shed is sunny enough, the air is sufficient, should apply a little frequently. On the contrary, the orchid shed is more shady, and the orchid plant is weak, so the application is less.
After the human urine of raw bran is retted to the concentration of paste, the raw bran is diluted in the ratio of lRV 10 to lRU 11 when applied. Water is used every two hours after fertilization. It has been absorbed to the root within six hours, and the general fertilizer effect is maintained for about 8 days. (Han Zhicheng)
