Simple Management of National Orchid (5)
This kind of asexual reproduction is the basic method to promote the reproduction and growth of national orchid. On each pseudobulb (orchid head), there are five or six growth points (bud eyes), each of which can grow a new bud. In the past, people who raised orchids used this method in order to be able to blossom every year. As a result, it was still a big pot for ten or eight years, and other false bulbs died in vain. Due to the change of values, for those fixed varieties or varieties that have already flowered, people adopt the ramet method to increase the number. According to years of observation, no matter what variety is in the late dormancy, when the new bud is about to grow, it is the most suitable to divide the plant. Because at this time, the ramet will not hurt the orchid plant, and it can grow new buds soon. If the orchid plant is strong, it can be divided into a single plant or two conjoined plants; after the old man is separated, it can be planted on a water moss bag. In terms of planting materials, I think the effect of mixing bark with pond cornerstone is better, because the air permeability and moisture retention are combined, and the orchid root is fresh and strong. After the split, it is best to wait for the wound to heal every other day before watering. Budding should be carried out after ramet, root growth and complete planting should be promoted, but the king of orchid bacteria is more economical and practical. Generally, it can be poured with 500 times blue fungus king, once every 10 days, three times in a row. In order to be quick and convenient, the king of blue fungus can also be applied to accelerate sprouting one day after the ramet, without additional watering.
