Always looking forward to Tao Yuanming picking wild flowers by the fence, inadvertently saw the days of Nanshan, but living in the city where we can see any mountains, in addition to row upon row of high-rise buildings, even rockery can only be found in the park. Fortunately, I gritted my teeth and stamped my feet. I made up my mind to spend more money than others to buy a small apartment with a garden. From then on, I spent most of my spare time.

The garden has more than 20 square meters and regular rectangles. As they sit south and face north, the south-facing side can only enjoy the sun in the morning. With this in mind, I planted five varieties of hydrangea on the south side, which is one of the few flowering plants that don't like the sun very much. In the north of the garden, on the contrary to the south, there is plenty of sunshine, and you will feel that there is too much light in summer. There is no doubt that I chose a wide variety of roses, mainly European and Japanese roses, with a large number of flowers and rich colors, but not good disease resistance, which can kill me as a gardener, equipped with a lot of pesticides, and the results are extremely gratifying.

Of course, a yard that can be called a garden can't do without grape trellis and fruit trees. I am no exception to build high grape trellis when using anticorrosive wood as fence, but instead of planting grapes that are prone to disease, I choose the flowers that bloom in summer.

As for the fruit tree, I spent a lot of money on a lemon tree and a blueberry tree. The lemon tree lived up to expectations. It produced more than 100 fruits in the first year, more than 60 in the second year, and later. But it also needs a rest. At the same time, the blueberries that entered the house were not so lucky. The beautiful flowers did not bear fruit in the first year and did not even bloom in the second year. It seems that I have to take good care of them.

All kinds of plants decorate my garden with magnificence, and every season from spring to autumn there are protagonists singing a big show, which is very lively. The rose in March and April is colorful, with a sea of flowers (I have planted more than 10 varieties, and the scene of collective flowering is still very grand). The hydrangeas in May and June are varied, especially the endless summer flowers are so large that I can't hold a flower in my hands. When it was hot in July and August, Lingxiao appeared on the stage, and only she could stand on the grape trellis closest to the sun and look down on the other hot powder in the garden, and the fiery color could only be controlled by the queen. In September and October, when the temperature dropped and the weather was cool, all the plants in the garden came back to life with a chorus of rose, hydrangea, Lingxiao and so on, accompanied by yellow lemon fruit. It seems that every plant is burning life and singing the most beautiful song. Only in winter, I did not prepare any repertoire for it. This season is the season for plants to rest and recuperate. The gardener only needs to be busy with fertilizing and pruning, and must not interrupt the flowers' dreams.

Since I began to have this small garden, I have become more and more homesick. Every weekend I always get up early to check the growth of plants, spray potions for sick plants, and fertilize and water flowering plants. Whenever I pick a bunch of flowers from the garden and decorate them in a vase, I can always feel a ray of sunshine coming into my room, and the house suddenly becomes a warm home.

In order to fully enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of my garden, I put a small stool on the balcony. I sat there with a cup of coffee and a book. I could see every baby in the yard when I looked up. A sense of happiness rose from the bottom of my heart. Due to the limited area of the yard, I couldn't bring all my favorite plants home, but that didn't stop me from putting some simulated anime characters, swing koalas, chatting birds and burden geese in every corner of the garden. These guys are lifeless, but it doesn't stop them from bringing you into the fairy tale world. I put the goose in the most conspicuous part of the garden so that I could see it smiling at you in the flowers from any angle. It reminds me of the puppet I saw on the windowsill of a house in rural London last summer and greeted everyone's eyes with the purest and lovely smile.

Whenever I am lazy to see that goose in the house, I think that happiness is just a matter of people's point of view. If you look at a place that happens to have your favorite scenery, you must be happy right now.
