New Plant material of Yilan-- Fuxin Maifan Stone

I have been trying to raise orchids with wheat rice stone since 1995. Several years' practice shows that it is feasible to raise orchids with wheat rice and stone. The orchids raised with it are easy to survive, easy to root, sprout more, grow healthily, blossom more easily, have a beautiful appearance, and have a remarkable evolution of leaf art. In the late autumn of 2000, I used Maifan stone and a small amount of rotten leaves to plant 3 seedlings of Yingqin Su and 3 seedlings of Chunlan Song Mei. By the end of 2001, Yingqin Su sent 2 seedlings and Song Meifa 4 seedlings, and they all grew into big seedlings, growing gratifyingly.

Maifan stone is a kind of medicinal rock, which is named by medical scientists in ancient China according to its appearance similar to barley rice balls. Nowadays, we have a further understanding of Maifan stone, which is the late product of magmatic crystallization differentiation of calc-alkaline rock series. it belongs to quartz porphyry or quartz feldspar in igneous magma, mainly composed of quartz or alkaline feldspar. Maifan stone is complex in structure. Observed under electron microscope, there are 2600 to 2800 holes in the surface area of each square centimeter, which belongs to the special type of porous structure.

There are nearly 60 kinds of elements, trace elements and trace elements in Maifan stone. Among the 90 naturally existing elements in the periodic table, 27 gods are necessary for the normal growth and development of animals and plants, of which 11 are large amounts of elements (oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, sulfur, phosphorus). The rest are trace elements. These 27 elements exist in Maifan stone, and the content is relatively moderate. The contents of harmful elements such as lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium and six prices in Maifan stone are much lower than those in crustal igneous rocks. The contents of radioactive isotopes uranium and thorium are very small.

The structural characteristics and chemical composition of Maifan stone determine that Maifan stone has adsorption, health care, medical treatment, biological activity, adjustment, growth promotion, deodorization and fresh-keeping effect and so on.

Orchid plant materials should have the following properties; rough structure, good permeability and ventilation; acid, no pollution, no disease, insect, virus latent; have a certain water retention capacity; contain a large number of elements, trace elements.

Maifan stone particles (including diameter lumped 3mm and 3mm 5mm) basically have the above conditions, the only difference is partial acidity, which can be adjusted by adding a small amount of acetic acid.

Using Maifan stone to raise orchid, the diameter of Maifan stone is 1mm to 3mm. Sometimes used alone, sometimes with some fresh or fermented sawdust, peanut shell charcoal, pine needles or broad-leaved leaves (all rotten), and so on. Using Maifan Stone granule alone can be used to cultivate Ye Yilan. I have used it to plant the following varieties: Melanie Golden Wumantang, Zodiac, Ssangyong, Ruihuang, Liming, Jianlan Golden Horsetail, Chunlan Tiger spot, Snake skin spot, Zhongtuoyi and so on. The following varieties have been planted with Maifan stone granules of other plant materials: Kirin, Wenshan butterfly, green cloud, national fragrant peony, Taoji, Huaguang butterfly, Shenzhou strange, etc., Jianlan Renhua big lotus, Renhua broad-leaf white, Longyan eighteen, spring orchid green cloud, big rich, lotus petal spring snow, big snow, light snow, spring lotus, cold orchid double happiness, Ying Qin Su and so on. Watering is carried out according to the old motto of "it is better not to get wet". The orchids planted not only grow new roots and buds, but also have bright green leaves. They are as white as snow, yellow as gold, and green as green. Fortunately, there are many seedlings, and the seedlings grow strong.

If we apply fertilizer such as blue fungus king and Xishuo, and according to the principle of "better less than more" and "thin fertilizer and diligent application", we can get twice the result with half the effort.

In addition, using other plant materials to cultivate orchids, you can also irrigate the water treated with Maifan stone or spray orchid plants with this water. Because the dissolution and precipitation effect of Maifan stone is remarkable, the aqueous solution has all the characteristics of Maifan stone.
