The environment of cultivating cold orchid

(1) to establish an ideal place for orchid cultivation

My orchid shed is built in the south of the building, there are bamboo forests in the west, facing southeast, and the shade of the orchid shed is more than 80%. The morning sun shines, when the sun is at the top at noon, it is blocked by the sunshade net, and at sunset, it is blocked by the bamboo forest, forming a ventilated environment that is warm in winter and cool in summer, and keeps the air fresh all the year round.

(2) the orchid grid should be equipped with rain protection.

At first I had two kinds of orchid sheds: one was the roof ridge type, with tarpaulins to block the rain (now changed to a glass greenhouse), and the other was the arched shed type, with only a sunshade net and no rain shelter. Adopt the same management and use the same plant material, there is no disease with rain protection equipment; if there is no rain protection equipment, orchid seedlings will have diseases and rotten sprouts. Therefore, the cold orchid shed to block the rainstorm, it is more important to note that the Qingming Festival, Cold Dew season can not let the rain drench the orchid basin.
