Principles of application of potash fertilizer
In general, the potassium content of different tissue parts of Guolan is different, and the potassium content of leaves is more, followed by new roots. However, in the mature stage, the corm part of Guolan contains the most potassium. Therefore, if we want to cultivate the national orchid with exuberant roots, thick roots, thick bulbs, thick and shiny leaves and enhanced disease resistance, we should use more organic plant growth agents N, P, K with low nitrogen and high potassium content, which are 15, 15, 15 and 30 per unit potash fertilizer. Promote the root population, enhance the absorption and effective utilization of nutrients, and enhance the growth potential and resistance to adverse environment of orchid plants, prevent aging, make the national orchid generation healthier, stronger, and improve quality and yield. Potash fertilizer is the most easily lacking element in all kinds of plants, and Guolan is no exception. When potassium is deficient, the leaf margin and leaf tip are easy to necrosis, resulting in scorched phenomenon, which is generally called "scorched tail". The leaf tissue is tender, the maturity is delayed, the corm is small, and the disease resistance is reduced. Sometimes it is easier to produce too much nitrogen fertilizer.
The growth of national orchid according to its growth period, the supply of different amounts of potassium fertilizer can help the national orchid stem and leaf width, corm hypertrophy, disease resistance, enhance the low light photosynthesis, accelerate the photosynthesis, increase the absorption of nutrients, and promote the growth and development of the national orchid. Potash fertilizer is easy to lack in the national orchid medium where acid soil is often leached by water, and the potash fertilizer of chemical fertilizer is easy to be lost or excessive, resulting in fertilizer damage.
In general, when national orchid is cultivated in peacetime cultivation and management, more water-soluble organic matter, low nitrogen and high potassium plant growth promoters should be used to cultivate national orchid. According to the different growth period, the principles of applying potash fertilizer are as follows:
(1) when ramet:
1% of organic matter fertilizer can be placed or slow-acting long-acting organic fertilizer can be placed two weeks after ramet planting, or organic matter plant growth promoters can be applied and used once a week.
(2) from budding stage to vegetative growth period:
If there is more nitrogen fertilizer content in the medium, and applying too much nitrogen fertilizer is easy to cause the national orchid plant to grow too much, it is appropriate to apply "low nitrogen and high potassium" organic fertilizer to avoid plant body change, soft tissue and reduced disease resistance. At this time, the uniform content of N, P, K can be used at intervals.
Over the past half a century, with the rapid development of domestic economic standards, the improvement of national income, and the increasing demand for quality of life, Guolan cultivation has adopted a professional cultivation and management model. Therefore, a large number of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, coupled with the leaching of water, lead to the decrease of the content of organic matter in the medium, the deterioration of physicochemical property, the loss of nutrients, the weakening of medium productivity and so on. Therefore, the application of organic agriculture in the cultivation of national orchid is to make use of crop residues, animal fertilizers, liverworts and other organic substances, using the decomposition of beneficial microorganisms to release nutrients to national orchid crops, in order to achieve the goal of national orchid production.
