Selection of training materials
Aquatic plants, snake wood cutting, longan bark, sand and gravel, broken bricks, polylone and so on are widely used culture materials at present. Water plants are suitable for root maintenance, but the drainage is slow and easy to rot; longan bark contains organic fertilizer, which often has the danger of mildew in the whole basin; sand and stone are hard and dry, but there is no case of decay and mildew; broken bricks are rich in moisturizing properties, as if there are no defects; Polaron is easy to use and easy to plant, which can keep the basin clean, but lack of moisture.
These different materials have their own advantages and disadvantages at the same time. It is difficult for all kinds of materials to be perfect, but they are intact, which can be said to be both good and bad, accompanied by strengths and weaknesses. Then we should choose which materials, there has never been a certain standard, then because of each person's experience and training methods, different opinions, each has its own advantages!
Between the choice of materials, in order to adopt a relatively mild culture method, the author mixed broken bricks, gravel and polysulone with 1/3 each, washed them and soaked them in clean water. After two or three weeks, the water was changed two or three times to remove impurities in the material itself. After planting, cover the basin with about 0.3 sets of water plants. After being used in this way for several years, it seems to be a feasible method to give birth smoothly and reproduce quickly. (Wu Anlu)
