At present, most of the general trainers use a certain amount of solid or liquid fertilizer to brew several times of clear water into water and fertilizer. But each goes his own way in the way they think is ideal. Among them, there are roughly three kinds that are most widely used. For the convenience of illustration, it might as well be falsely referred to here as: concentrated fertilizer washing method; micro-fertilizer continuous method; light fertilizer laissez-faire method.

The advantages and disadvantages, advantages and disadvantages of the above three fertilization methods are described as follows:

A, thick fertilizer washing method:

1. Methods: general quantitative and highest concentration of water and fertilizer were used. After watering, after one to two hours, uncertain time, then pour a lot of water, rinse orchid plants and orchid pots. Make the fertilizer contained in the basin flow out completely with the water.

2. Reason: using this method, it is said that the amount of fertilizer can not get the effect of fertilization unless it reaches a certain concentration. It also absorbs fertilizer for plants, such as food for animals, which is enough in a short time. After fertilizing, it is allowed to be absorbed in a certain period of time, and as soon as it is washed away with water, the best effect of fertilization can still be obtained. It also avoids the retention of fertilizer in the basin, causing acidification of materials and reproduction of bacteria.

3. Humble opinion: (the author's opinion)

The life function and physiological state of plants and animals are inherently different. It may not be entirely appropriate to compare the absorption of fertilizer by the orchid plant with the food intake of animals.

This method is always considered to be: since it needs thick fertilizer, why rinse it? Instead of rinsing at any time, it is better to apply slightly light fertilizer! Moreover, from fertilizing to washing, the length of this period of time is not consistent. Flushing at the wrong time, or improper flushing skills, there will be the risk of slander!

Everybody, remember! The defamation of plant fertilizer is the phenomenon that the plant is subjected to excessive fertilizer, which causes unbearable load stimulation, resulting in its life function and damage. The water and fertilizer received by the orchid plant is too thick, and it is immediately stimulated by the unbearable load, although the time is short, it is enough to form slander!

Therefore, the method of flushing thick fertilizer seems to be only applicable to experienced experts, and newcomers who are beginners to raise orchids do not seem to have to take this risk!

B. continuous method of micro-fertilizer:

1. Methods: soak 10% to 20% of the general amount into water and fertilizer, use fertilizer as water and water as fertilizer, and apply light fertilizer continuously with each routine watering.

2. Reason: the reason for using this method is that fertilizer often causes fertilizer injury to orchid plants. in order to prevent fertilizer injury, a very slight amount of water and fertilizer is used continuously as water. It can not only absolutely avoid fat injury, but also increase the chance of absorbing fat. Use more times of fertilization to make up for a slight amount of fertilizer.

3. Folly opinion: when fertilizing, you must go up and down according to the health status of orchid species. That is, when a certain concentration of water and fertilizer is being used, for the healthy and strong, the usual amount of fertilizer will be irrigated. If the orchid plants with medium health or high skill should be watered less. There are fewer weak plants and older ones, or no watering. It will not be forgiven if you change the basin for less than half a month. This is a principle that cannot be violated when applying fertilizer!

Fertilization should pay more attention to the climate. That is, the hot weather in which the temperature rises to about 33 ℃, or the cold climate in which the temperature drops to less than 10 ℃, absolutely forbids fertilization in the gloomy days of plum rain, and it is also a taboo to apply fertilizer!

If micro-fertilizer is applied continuously, a slight amount of fertilizer will make the strong orchid plant lack of fertilizer. So that the weak plants that should be free of fertilizer can not be loaded, forming a state of excess and deficiency, and violate the principles and taboos of fertilization!

C, light fertilizer laissez-faire method:

1. Methods: according to the general amount of 60% to 80% of the amount of water and fertilizer, after watering any fertilizer contained in the basin, so that the orchid plant can be absorbed arbitrarily, to the next watering, with the irrigated water, flushing loss.

2. Reason: light concentration of water and fertilizer, absolutely no risk of vilification, but also depending on the health of the orchid plant, with more watering and less watering, increase the amount of weight loss. Not only without the disadvantages of faults and deficiencies, but also in the heat, cold or plum rain, abide by the taboo of stopping fertilization.

3. Humble opinion: this method is relatively mild and does not go to extremes. For more than ten years, the author has adopted this method, and so far, only its advantages and disadvantages have been seen.

If it is said that this method accumulates fertilizer for a long time, it is easy to acidify the material and the reproduction of bacteria. Of course! After the light fertilizer is watered down to the next watering, it will also be washed away by water, although the basin contains fertilizer for a long time, it is no big deal!

Because thick fertilizer in the basin for a short time, but its concentration is high. Light fertilizer stayed in the basin for a long time, but its concentration was low.
