Second, March National Orchid Fertilizer Management
During the flowering period in February, the orchid plant has already consumed the nutrients accumulated in the past, and now it is in the period of new bud germination, which requires a large amount of nutrients and a continuous supply of fertilizers with high nitrogen and potassium ratio and cytokinesis hormones to maintain the life of the plant itself and promote the germination and growth of buds. Therefore, the fertilizer supply after changing the basin can be divided into the following ways:
1. After changing the basin for 3 to 5 days, you can start to use 1500 times of spermatogenesis or 1500 times of chemical fertilizer 25, 5, 20, foliar fertilization, be careful not to drop on the medium, affecting root growth.
2. After changing the basin, the microbial preparation of root special bacteria should be used immediately. 1 to 2 grams per pot to promote the growth of new roots.
3. 15 to 20 days after changing the basin. Place 1 to 2 grams of 14:12:14 slow-acting fertilizer on the edge of the bowl in each basin as base fertilizer.
4. 15 to 20 days after basin change, the root system has adapted to the new growth environment, and the injured site has almost healed and began to absorb normally. It is necessary to use supergroup 8OO times mixed with BS microorganisms every 7 to 10 days, and straight buds grow into water moss.
If the growth environment of the plant itself, such as water, light and nutrient content, is not properly adjusted from the dormant period to the vegetative growth period, the germination ability and quantity of buds will be greatly affected. Cultivation managers should pay more attention to it. (Wang Huaiyin)
