Study on fertilization Technology of Phalaenopsis
The growth of tissue culture seedlings of Phalaenopsis is slow, and it takes more than 1.5 years from emergence of bottle seedlings to flowering. The selection of appropriate types of fertilization is very important to accelerate its growth and development and flowering.
Effects of different fertilization treatments of ① on leaf growth of Phalaenopsis. Among the selected fertilizers and their mixed fertilization treatments, the most ideal fertilization treatment is T2 urea + KH2PO4. It shows that Phalaenopsis needs sufficient N, P, K at seedling stage. In the treatment with low N content, the proportion of leaf area increase decreased relatively. Trace elements can obviously promote the leaf growth of Phalaenopsis.
Effects of different fertilization treatments of ② on flower bud formation and pedicel development of Phalaenopsis
During the flower bud differentiation of Phalaenopsis, the fertilizer factors needed were different. It can be seen that the flower bud rate was higher in the fertilization treatment with less N but more P and K. Such as F5 compound fertilizer + KH2PO4+ trace element treatment, F1 Huabao No. 1 treatment, F7 urea + KH2PO4+ trace element treatment and so on. F6 Green Fenwei and other treatments with less P and K, the flower bud rate was lower. From the length of pedicel development, the effect of urea + KH2PO4+ trace elements treatment was the best, followed by compound fertilizer + trace elements, and the effect of green Fenwei was the worst.
