1. Plastic orchid basin is the most suitable for "fairy soil".

Due to the high cost of mailing and transportation, the price of "Xiantu" is slightly higher than that of other base materials, but it is convenient and hygienic to use, especially suitable for urban building residents. If equipped with a trumpet plastic orchid basin, the diameter of the basin should be 15x20 cm, so that it covers a small area, saves soil and is easy to manage. The bottom of the basin is set off with 1/3 bricks, and there is no need to change soil for more than two years after planting. This method is not suitable for the tall and powerful ink orchid, it is in danger of being top-heavy and light, and it will not be a problem for Chun, Hui and Jian Lan. it can be managed to spray some "Jialanbao" or potassium dihydrogen phosphate at ordinary times, which is convenient and convenient, and makes the orchid, basin and soil unified. Beautiful and elegant.

2. Other substrates can be added to "Fairy soil".

"Fairy soil" as the carrier of orchid cultivation, in a broad sense, there is "fairy soil", in a narrow sense, according to the different varieties you cultivate, plus a certain proportion of different base materials, the effect is better.

If you plant Ye Yilan, you can mix some brick grains, snake wood or degummed bone powder in the fairy soil, plant Yilan, add some water moss or rotten leaf soil, and so on. Adding Renzhongbai (urine dirt) to the orchid soil in Shaoxing area, I tried to soak it in water for one month, and the effect was also remarkable after drying and smashing it in the immortal soil. In short, according to different varieties, you can put a little emphasis on it.

3. "Fairy soil" also needs fertilization.

Some varieties, such as dwarf ink and large-leaf orchids, need more fertilizer because of their magnificent leaves, especially after flowering after buying flowers, and they also need nutrition after flowering, and it is difficult to rely solely on the limited fairy soil in the pot. therefore, more than half a year after planting and before the bud, in addition to spraying fertilizer, some fertilizer should be properly applied to make the bud strong flower fragrance.

For the sake of hygiene, imported compound fertilizer can be used, sprinkle more than ten grains on each basin, and let it dissolve slowly during watering, once every two months. Don't use too much.

4. Know the orchid feeling on the surface of the basin soil

In the course of solidification, it was found that some strong grasses were well watered twice a day, while some weak seedlings were watered in the morning, but the potted soil was still wet but not dry in the evening. In this regard, we must find out the reasons: weak seedlings must be watered less and more irrigated to promote their rotten roots. for rotten roots and seedlings, no matter what season, they must be pulled out and disinfected and replanted, at the same time, they should be slightly dried after planting, and should not be watered twice a day. Also, cities generally use tap water to irrigate orchid, for a long time, the amount of alkali on the basin increases, and the basin surface is white stone gray, at this time, it is necessary to use ferrous sulfate light liquid to pour several times to restore its slight acidity in order to be suitable for seedling growth.

5. Haolan needs to prevent rats from stealing insects and showers.

Growing orchids in immortal soil has many advantages, but everything is fine when planting orchids. Those who use immortal soil will plant orchids that are more valuable, but they do not realize that mice tend to bite good orchids. Therefore, family orchids should be protected from rats first, and false bulbs can sprout as we all know. In particular, most of the old bulbs of precious orchids will not be discarded. Using rooting element and budding hormone will be troublesome for a while, and carefully plant it in a pot to hope for its germination. Unfortunately, the bud did not wait until the bud. It has already become a midday meal for rats! Sometimes when the green bud heads are unearthed, they will be bitten off and thrown aside by rats, and it is difficult to prevent. Some people use their hair to distribute potted noodles to frighten rats, but the fundamental problem has not been solved. The best way is to apply rat poison in orchid planting places for a long time, otherwise bluegrass is unstable.
