Soft rot and its new control method
The pathogen of soft rot belongs to bacterial pathogen. The pathogen of soft rot is usually naturally opened by Cymbidium. (stomata) or mechanical friction injury caused by wound invasion infection. After the pathogen of soft rot invades the tissue of orchid plant, it will soon cause water-immersed epidermis to rupture and sag, soft rot phenomenon, with an unpleasant smell. When the orchid plant is infected with soft rot, there will be mucus on the spot. If the cultivation manager touches the plaque fluid with his hand, he will feel sticky, which is the difference between bacterial and fungal infection.
After the pathogen of soft rot was infected with Lan strain, the infection rate was faster in tender tissues. If the cultivation manager discovers the initial infection, he should be treated with Tongdang medicine immediately, otherwise the infected site will soon die of soft rot. In the older mature orchid plant tissue, the progress rate is slow, and in serious cases, the whole orchid plant decays and dies.
Prevention and cure method
(1) the pathogen is mainly transmitted by water. The infected orchid strain should be isolated and taken out of the orchid room immediately.
(B) avoid mechanical injuries so that pathogens will not have the chance to attack orchid strains from the wound.
(3) there should be covering equipment in the rainy season to prevent Rain Water from splashing orchid beads, and chemical control should be applied immediately on sunny days.
(4) regular application of insecticides for prevention.
(5) diseased strains can be tried out:
(a) 69% streptomycin wettable powder 1000 times
(B) 30% Pu Ka manganese soluble powder 1000 times.
(6) when the temperature is low in winter and the effect of general bacterial fungicides is poor, the chemical agents in the form of steel can decay 1000 times faster to achieve the effect of prevention and control. With the application of heavy metal chemicals, other chemical fertilizers and organic matter fertilizers should not be left on the leaves of orchid plants before and after application, and they should not be mixed at the same time, especially seaweed essence, so as to avoid drug damage. For example, copper pesticides are easy to be damaged in high temperature period. When copper pesticides are mixed with seaweed essence, drug damage often occurs.
(7) it should be used 1200 times every two to four weeks in summer and rainy season and once every one to three months in winter. The addition of exhibition agent 1500 times can increase the germicidal efficacy.
(8) although the above agents have a killing effect on bacterial bacteria, bacterial pathogens are easy to produce resistance to the above agents. Cultivation managers in the usual disease control, need to take turns to use different pesticides, lest the fungicide can not be killed because of drug resistance, orchid plant growth is harmed.
