Etiology: caused by bacterial infection. The pathogen invaded the orchid plant through the wound of the injured leaf, the ramet incision or the crack of the leaf trousers.

Symptoms: Guolan is infected with this disease, and white spots, yellowish-brown markings or necrotic spots will appear on the surface of orchid leaves. The lesion starts from the tip of the leaf, which will eventually lead to the yellowing, drying and shrunk of the whole leaf.

Prevention: the disease is easy to spread by water, so the watering method of soaking the orchid basin into the bucket should be avoided at ordinary times. Secondly, the orchid room should ensure good ventilation and sunshine. Planting materials had better be disinfected in advance. The orchid room needs to spray 80% mancozeb 800 times solution regularly.

Treatment: there is no cure for the infected orchid strain, so it should be removed and destroyed as soon as possible to avoid infecting other healthy strains.
