The waste mushroom material after cultivating mushroom, mushroom, fungus and other edible fungi is a good medium for cultivating orchids. Edible fungus factories, edible mushroom research institutes and mushroom farmers around the country have a large number of waste fungus materials to use every year. The waste mushroom material is the waste mushroom material after the mushroom is harvested. It is made of rice stalk and cow manure, and its waste bacterial material is soft and breathable and rich in fertilizer. The raw materials used to cultivate Lentinus edodes are mainly mixed wood bran, mixed with a small amount of urea, glucose or sugar. Lentinus edodes waste mushroom material is abandoned after the cultivation of Lentinus edodes, commonly known as Lentinus edodes soil, loose light, moderate fertilizer. Lentinus edodes soil should be selected if it is fully mature and black-brown.

Waste fungus plant orchid has many advantages: 1) easy to draw materials, light soft, not easy to solidify, strong water and air permeability, good performance of water storage and fertilizer conservation, strong orchid planting, developed root system, thick and white roots, 2) strong orchid seedlings, broad and thick leaves, thick green leaves, high flowering rate, large flowers, long flowering period, few pot weeds and low incidence of disease. 3) Lentinus edodes soil is slightly acidic, moderate nutrient content, long fertilizer period, generally no lack of organic matter and trace elements; 4) lighter than perlite and vermiculite, it is the most ideal cultivation medium for growing orchids on roof roofs and balconies of buildings. Lentinus edodes soil is especially suitable for planting spring orchids, using it to cultivate Ye Yilan, the performance of Ye Yi is more obvious. Disadvantages: 1) easy to grow miscellaneous mushrooms. If the mushroom is allowed to rot in the orchid basin, it is easy to attract flies and ants and cause diseases and insect pests. The miscellaneous mushrooms can be removed manually. 2) earthworms are easy to grow in the basin. Earthworms hurt the roots of orchids, which are good for plants but also good for them. The number of earthworms is small, and there is no need to kill them. The number of earthworms is large, which can be killed by irrigating and killing them with 500 Mel 600 times trichlorfon liquid or "tea bran water" commonly used in rural areas.

The author has tried Lentinus edodes soil for many years, whether used alone or as one of the mixture media, orchid seedlings grow well, Ye Yilan does not quit, and green leaves are easy to produce snakeskin art. Lentinus edodes soil is crushed manually, exposed to the scorching sun in midsummer for 2-3 days, then sprayed with pesticide disinfection, and can be used directly after storage for half a month.
