First of all, this article is from Li Xiaoqing's original text. After three and a half years of experiments, I have achieved remarkable results. I am here to share it with the majority of Lan friends.

Whether it's downhill orchids in pots or ramets, many people are used to watering "root fixing water" immediately after planting. This has lost part of the water orchid plant, it is almost as soon as possible to replenish water, in fact, it is very easy to lead to orchid root wound infection, and then black roots, rotten roots, so that we have to wait for new roots to grow again before returning to normal growth, so that the seedling period is prolonged, corresponding will also cause scorched tip or even change leaves. In view of this, the author found out the method of planting with moist soil and slowly irrigating root water in practice, which has good effect and avoids the above disadvantages.

Before planting, the rotten roots and dead leaves were cut off with sterilized scissors, and then disinfected with 0.1% permanganic acid solution or 800 times methyl ester, and then dried until the roots were slightly soft and white for use.

Soil treatment will be suitable for planting orchid soil disinfection, adjust the water content, to hold into a group, landing naturally scattered as appropriate. This moisture content can keep the newly planted orchid roots moist and make the wounds of the orchid roots heal quickly.

Planting and maintenance: plant the orchid plants according to the conventional method, remove the dust on the orchid leaves with a clean brush, and then put the orchid pot under the shelter. The humidity in the shed should be kept at 75%--85%. In case of hot weather, spray a small amount of water mist on the leaves, just wet the leaves, and no water drops should flow into the leaf bundle. Such maintenance for 2~3 days, then pouring enough root water, according to the conventional method of management.

Even in summer, the survival rate is nearly 100%, and it can resume growth 7~10 days after planting. (Author: Tian Jun)
