Garlic for scale insects

Last year, I saw two lotus petals with shell insects on the stall, and they took them home because they were pleasing to the eye. After going home, observe with a magnifying glass, gather more in the gap between the leaf nail and petiole, decide not to scrape off (one is very difficult to scrape, the other is to observe the curative effect), and directly treat the shell with garlic.

Methods:

Take four cloves of red garlic and mash them into two portions. Part An adds more water (as long as it can basically penetrate the plant material in the basin); part B add a little water to soak for a while to make it thicker. Apply B-part garlic juice to the front and back of the leaves with a brush, then apply the remaining mashed garlic to the seam of the petiole and let the juice seep into the seam; stir the A-part garlic juice and pour it into the basin. As mentioned above, every three days for the first three times. The second and third times, pay attention to wiping off the dried garlic from the petiole and applying it again. According to the comparative observation, no new shell insects were found after two times, and the shell adults growing on the leaf surface and back of the leaves fell off with a touch. The fourth and fifth times once a week, smear the leaf beetle and petiole with B thick juice to consolidate the curative effect.

Results: up to now, no scale insects have been found and a new bud has grown.

1. The insect spot of the old grass is vivid in my mind.

2. The white on the petiole is the uncleaned trace of garlic. Last year's carelessness came in handy in filming this year. (Kong Linggang)
