Spring is coming, and Lanyou from all over the country has started the work of changing pots in the new year. The cultivation of orchids focuses on nourishing qi, the orchids are smooth, and there are fewer problems. When the gas in the basin is alive, the problem of watering will be solved. After reading some of the leaflet's posts, I found that some of the leaflet's hydrophobic covers are self-made. Combined with my own experience of self-made hydrophobic covers in recent years, I would also like to communicate with you here, and I hope to point out what is wrong. Here are the reasons why I made my own water trap cover:

1. The size of the basin varies with the application of the corresponding hydrophobic cover, but the hydrophobic cover (tube) supplied on the market is usually single, there is only one model, and it is not available everywhere. It is very inconvenient to use.

two。 Each orchid friend will use different size pots according to the orchid species they planted. If they all use the same type of drain pipe, it will not fully improve the ventilation in the basin.

3. Using waste produced in daily life to make a drain mask is a necessary tool to kill two birds with one stone:

1. Electric soldering iron 2. All kinds of waste products such as mineral water bottles, sprite bottles, milk cups, packaging tubes for children's snacks such as yogurt lozenges, MM chocolate, etc. Production method of scissors:

1. Use electric soldering iron to brand holes in mineral water bottles and other things as closely as possible to make them well ventilated.

two。 Use scissors to split mineral water bottles and sprite bottles into two and use them as different drainage covers.

The following is the picture, may be more clear, after using the hydrophobic cover, my orchid is less rotten root, interested orchid friends can try, there may be unexpected harvest. (Deng Weijian)
