It is recognized by modern agronomists that there are as many as 15 elements necessary for plant growth, among which carbon, hydrogen, oxygen (from water and carbon dioxide), nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium and magnesium are needed in large quantities. Phosphate fertilizer is also the main component of nucleus, which plays a role in cell cleavage, chlorophyll formation, protein synthesis and transformation in plants, and is closely related to the formation and strength of orchid plants. Potash fertilizer should participate in photosynthesis to keep the physiological function of cells normal, and it is related to the synthesis of carbohydrate, protein and fat. It is known from its function that proper application of fertilizer can increase the accumulation of nutrients in the orchid plant, and then make the orchid plant strong, the corm full, mature early, easy to sprout new buds and improve the reproduction rate.
