Rock peony, a succulent plant
Origin: northern mexico, is growing in the subtropical fleshy cactus, rock peony semi-buried in the earth, has a large taproot. The upper part is flattened, 6-12 cm in diameter, with triangular nodules overlapping to form transverse wrinkles. Rock peonies have no crown at all, and are gray in color and easily collect themselves in their growing areas. Rock peonies have hairy tops and grow large pink or yellow flowers after a few years of growth. Rock peony contains bitter and toxic alkaloids, such as barley alkaloid. These alkaloids protect the plant itself from herbivorous animals.

Sexual likes warm, sunny and airy environment, cold, suitable for good drainage, breathable gravel soil, drought resistance, avoid ponding. Winter requires cold and dry basin soil, more cold-resistant. Self-rooted plants grow very slowly, the seed setting rate of mother plants is very low, and the fruit ripening time is very long.
