Do you like planting lotus flowers? Many flower friends have said that Lu Lotus is difficult to grow and easy to rot its roots. Let's take a look at how to solve it. Teach you to be a master of raising lotus flowers.

Lu Lotus is more difficult to grow, and it will rot its roots before it germinates. In fact, as long as you grasp a few tricks, you can easily cross this hurdle.

q. The lotus is very difficult to challenge. It will become moldy or rot if you are not careful. Is there any suggested cultivation method?

a. According to our experience, the level of planting lotus root tuber is usually from the bulb to the budding stage, as long as it germinates, it can be said to be half the success.

Some people are used to soaking the dry root in water before planting, and if the time of soaking is not controlled (especially when the temperature is high), the root may begin to rot before it germinates.

Therefore, it is recommended to cultivate in the following ways:

First adjust the clean medium with good drainage (peat soil + perlite + vermiculite), then plant the lotus root in a three-inch basin (the top of the root is exposed to the soil), and then fully water it.

Take about 1-2 centimeters of stagnant water in a shallow plate, put the planted Lulian potted plant on the water plate, so that the root tuber can continue to absorb water, and the stagnant water can be poured out in about half a day. At this time, it can be found that the Lulian root has obviously enlarged.

Put it in a place with enough light and wait for it to sprout. The speed of germination varies according to the condition of each root tuber, and green buds can be seen in about 7-10 days!

After the lotus begins to spread its leaves, the lotus can be replanted in a larger pot. It is recommended that a single plant be planted in a pot of more than five inches. It is also recommended to use a medium with good drainage so that rotting roots will not occur in the growth process.
