Bamboo is a perennial monocotyledonous plant, evergreen all the year round, mature bamboo will produce horizontal branches; bamboo leaves are sword-shaped, apex acuminate, base obtuse, one side of the edge of bamboo leaves is smooth, the other side is serrated; the veins are parallel, the leaf surface is dark green, and the back is light. The leaves of young plants grow directly from the stem; the underground stem of bamboo is an organ for storing nutrients and has a strong ability of reproduction, it grows horizontally, and there are many fibrous roots and buds on the nodes; in general, bamboo grows for 12 to 120 years before it blossoms and seeds, and it blossoms and seeds only once in its life.
