The living habits of Ma Lin

Iris is not strict with the soil. As long as it has a certain soil layer, it can grow normally on all types of soil. It can withstand the extremely low temperature of-30 ℃ and the high temperature of 40 ℃. It can survive the winter and summer normally in the northern area.

Its roots and leaves have a drought-resistant structure, which can grow normally, blossom and bear seeds after watering only 2 or 3 times a year.

It is extremely saline-alkali tolerant, the seeds can germinate normally under the condition of 0.4% salt content, and the plants can grow and develop normally under 0.5% salt content and 8.8 pH value.
