Morphological characteristics of strawberry

Strawberry is a perennial herb, leaves Ternate, leaflets with petioles, thick texture, 3-7 cm long, 2-6 cm wide, dark green above, pale green below, sparsely hairy. Cymes, with 5-15 flowers, with a short stalked leaflet below the inflorescence; flowers bisexual, 1.5-2 cm in diam.; petals white, suborbicular or Obovate; aggregate fruit large, 3 cm in diam., bright red; achene tip ovate, smooth. Temperature

Strawberry likes warm and cool climate, the growth temperature of strawberry root system is 5-30 degrees, the optimum temperature is 15-22 degrees, and the growth temperature of stems and leaves is 20-30 degrees. The temperature of flower and leaf differentiation is 5-15 degrees, the flowering and fruiting period is 4-40 degrees, and when the temperature is higher than 30 degrees, temperature shielding measures should be taken.

Light

Strawberry tastes like light plants, but it is more shady. When the light is strong, the plant is short and strong, the fruit is small, the color is dark, and the quality is good. In medium light, the fruit is large, the color is gallbladder, the sugar content is low, and the harvest time is longer; too weak light is not conducive to the growth of strawberries.

Moisture content

Strawberry has shallow root distribution, large transpiration and strict water requirements, but strawberries have different water requirements in different growth periods. For early spring and flowering coral, the lint percentage per grass is less than 70% of the maximum soil water holding capacity. The demand during fruit growth and ripening period is more than 80%.
