Growth habits of air pineapple

Air pineapple originally grows in tropical and subtropical rain forests or arid mountains at an altitude of 100m-5000 m. It is attached to tree trunks, stones and cliff crevices, and a few grow on cactus. Unlike other plants, it mainly relies on silver-gray fluffy scales on the leaves to absorb water. It does not need soil or water, and can survive by spraying water.

Air pineapple is resistant to drought and strong light, and a small number of people like humid environment. Most of the more advanced air pineapples look gray because their leaves are covered with fluffy bodies to reflect light, avoid burns and prevent water evaporation. The more exposed to the sun, the denser the fluff.
