Fertilization of orchids
The cultivation of Cymbidium should pay special attention to fertilization; because of its slow growth, it does not need a lot of fertilizer; once it is fertilized too much, it will wither the orchid plant; if it is planted with water moss, it will not hurt even if it is not fertilized for a year. The ground orchid absorbs nutrients from the soil, so it can promote its growth by applying an appropriate amount of fertilizer; it is generally appropriate to apply 2000 times diluted special liquid fertilizer twice a month. Epiphytic orchid fertilizes less, and it is suitable to apply 300O~5000 diluted fertilizer solution once or twice a month. In order to promote growth, increasing the number of fertilization or increasing the concentration of fertilizer solution will be counterproductive, resulting in damage to the orchid plant.
