Huang Qirui, director of production and development, said that on average, organic agricultural products are 20 to 30% more expensive than ordinary agricultural products, and the certification procedures are relatively strict. the municipal government samples an average of 1,600 pieces from major stores and organic stores every year, and between last year and March this year, 39 items have been found to be unqualified. Apart from requiring the operators to take them off the shelves for recycling or improvement, they have been fined a total of 1.89 million yuan.

Among them, dried figs found to have pesticide residues were fined 30,000 yuan, while the rest were fined 60,000 yuan each for failing to pass the verification or obtaining organic labeling consent documents, totaling 270,000 yuan.
