Dendrobium is an epiphytic orchid belonging to Dendrobium, which originates from Taiwan, Guangdong and Guangxi in China. It likes warm, humid and semi-shady environment. It avoids direct sunlight and is afraid of cold. In the process of cultivation and management, we should create suitable environmental conditions according to its habits and combine appropriate water and fertilizer management, so that we can cultivate healthy Dendrobium.

During the curing period, the light should be sufficient, and direct light can be accepted in winter. In winter, when cultivated in northern greenhouses, it can not shade or block about 20% of sunlight. And pay attention to ventilation during maintenance. Dendrobium likes high temperature and high humidity. During the maintenance period, the temperature of evergreen species should not be lower than 15℃, and deciduous species should be slightly lower. The temperature difference between day and night is too small, which is not conducive to the growth of Dendrobium. It is best that the temperature difference between day and night is 10-15℃. Dendrobium has higher requirements for air humidity, so it is the best state to keep moist in the basin. No water can be accumulated in the basin during vigorous growth period, otherwise it is easy to rot. You can often spray water on the surrounding ground to increase air humidity.

In the process of maintaining Dendrobium, we should also strengthen the use of fertilizer. Do not apply concentrated fertilizer to Dendrobium. Adjust the proportion of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium according to the growth period, spray leaves or irrigate roots, generally once a week.

When changing pots, it can be combined with plant division at the same time. After changing pots, it should be placed in a semi-shady place, watering can be controlled, foliar spraying can be carried out appropriately, and watering and light intensity should be gradually increased and fertilization should be applied after 1 to 2 weeks.
