1. Prepare rootstocks

2. Dig grooves in the rootstock

Dig a 3-centimeter-long groove on the rootstock in the shape shown below. The groove should be large enough to fit into the stem of the camellia seedlings. The camellia seedlings also need to remove half of the bark, as long as they can match the grooves.

3. Card Xiao Miao into a small slot

As shown in the picture, put the seedlings in the slot.

4. Fix the seedlings in the slot.

Find a black tape and stick a circle around the joint between the seedling and the slot, so that the seedling is fixed on the rootstock. If there is no black tape, it can also be tied up with a plastic bag or rope.

Several cuttings can be grafted on one rootstock, and one scion is grafted when the diameter of the rootstock is 1-2 cm; when the diameter of the rootstock is 2-3 cm, 2 scions are grafted, and so on.

5. Do Gao Pei Tu

After the camellia seedlings are stuck, the roots are on the rootstock basin, so a bottomless plastic flowerpot or culture cup can be used to cover the roots of the seedlings and fill the soil.

6. Half a year later, cut the seedlings

Camellia grafting, generally wait for half a year, the scion will be combined with the rootstock, patient flower friends, can wait 8-9 months later, and then cut off the seedlings, separated from the rootstock.

7. Take off the black tape

After cutting the seedlings, the black tape can be taken off, and you can see that the seedlings and rootstocks have completely grown together. In this way, you get a big seedling of camellias!
