Wandailan is drought-resistant and likes the sun and the hot, humid tropical environment, but it is afraid of cold. Compared with Cartland, Oncidium and Yang Hui, their cold resistance is poor. The indoor or balcony planting is above 20 ℃, the best temperature is 25 ℃ and the relative humidity is 80%.

If the room temperature dropped to 10 ℃ 15 min, the plant was in a state of forced dormancy, and the leaves gradually withered and yellowed after a long time.

If the room temperature drops below 5 ℃, it and some tropical orchids (such as Dendrobium candidum) will soon freeze to death.

Wandai orchids are planted in tropical areas with wooden frames, whose roots are all exposed in the air. In the greenhouse in the north, porous pottery basins can be used, and a mixture of broken bricks, charcoal and snake sawdust can be used. Try to use less water moss, let alone grow in soil.

Wandailan needs fertilization during its growing period. 1/1000 solution of 11 kinds of chemical fertilizers can be sprayed and dilute antimicrobials and insecticides can be used alternately every other month to prevent diseases and insect pests. (Huang Zehua)
