Preliminary experimental results of potassium nutrition
1. K + is indispensable in the growth of orchid buds, and K deficiency reduces the growth rate of orchid buds. However, there was no difference in different potassium ion depth in the growth of buds.
2. K + and leaf growth rate.
The orchid plants grown under the condition of potassium deficiency showed small leaf area and fine circumference, and the plants looked small and delicate. K application played a role in promoting growth during this period, especially for plants that did not grow well.
3. Morbidity investigation
The incidence of anthracnose in orchids growing under potassium deficiency (0mM) and low potassium (0.1mM) conditions is high, with an incidence of 50% and 36.4% respectively in July and 58.3% and 54.6% in August, respectively. The incidence of other K culture conditions was less than 20%. (Ye Qingsheng, Pan Ruichi)
