Orchid fungicides-- topiramine and methyl topiramate
Both Tuoshijin and methyl thiazine are new broad-spectrum internal absorption fungicides with high efficiency and low toxicity. The chemical name of the former is 1-Bis (3-dioxycarbonyl-2-thiourea) benzene, and the chemical name of the latter is 1-Bis (3-methylcarbonyl-2-thiourea) benzene. Pure products are colorless flake crystals, industrial products are white or yellowish solids, insoluble in water, chemically stable, low toxicity to humans and animals, dosage form, 50% wettable powder; methyl thiazine has 50% and 70% wettable powder. 50% of topiramate wettable powder 500-1000 times liquid spray can control orchids, roses and other ornamental flowers and trees of a variety of diseases. The efficacy of methyl topiramate is 1% higher than that of topiramate, and the dilution ratio should be increased when it is used.
Attention should be paid to: (1) it can be mixed with a variety of pesticides and stone-sulfur mixtures, but not with copper-containing preparations; (2) wash the liquid on the skin with water after application to ensure safety. (Liu Zhongjian, Xu Gongming)
