Aeration status of cultivation substrate
When the culture medium was well ventilated, the root respiration was exuberant, the blue bacteria grew rapidly, and the water absorption capacity was improved. Poor ventilation of the cultivation substrate leads to lack of oxygen and excessive accumulation of carbon dioxide, which can weaken cell respiration and affect active water absorption in a short time. Over a long period of time, anaerobic respiration is formed, more ethanol is accumulated, the root system is poisoned and injured, and less water is absorbed. We often use a relatively hard cultivation substrate, or leave a vent in the wall of the flowerpot, which is to reduce the retention of gravity water, increase its gap and improve ventilation, so as to maintain its good ventilation condition and ensure the normal activity of the reporting system.
