1. Causes of this phenomenon

The reasons for this situation are various, mainly the following. First, soil permeability is poor. Second, there is too much water, and the water is serious. The third is that there are many pests in the soil. If all three aspects are present, the root is easy to dry out. After discovery, it should be dealt with immediately. If the situation is not too serious, the plant can recover. However, if it is not treated for a long time, the dried part of the root will become more and more, and it may not be saved.

2. Treatment measures

(1) First, carefully remove the plant from the pot and straighten its roots.

(2) Next, clean the roots that need to be cleaned, and then cut off the already deflated roots. If you find any rotten roots or empty roots, you can cut them off together.

(3) After trimming, soak it in disinfectant for a while, such as carbendazim, potassium permanganate, etc. It didn't take too long. Ten minutes was probably enough.

(4) After completing the above steps, you need to put it in a cool and well-ventilated place for about two days.

(5) After drying, replace the new soil and plant it. New soil also needs attention, there are requirements. First loose, breathable, drainage is also good, humus should be more. And, preferably, sandy. Generally speaking, moldy soil can be used. If conditions permit, you can mix decaying leaf soil with river sand and add some decomposed organic fertilizer.
