Also known as killing enemies, it is a pyrethroid insecticide newly developed in the 1970s. It was synthesized by Elliot in 1974 and produced by Rosso-Yusuf in 1976. The utility model has the advantages of fast insecticidal effect, strong knockdown force, and can control many kinds of pests, especially for drug-resistant pests, with small dosage, low frequency, low toxicity to human and animals, low pollution to the environment and no toxicity. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue. Deltamethrin mainly has contact effect, and has stomach poison, egg killing and antifeeding effect, but it has no internal absorption effect and is toxic to fish, honeybee, silkworm and so on.

Dosage form: 2.5% wettable powder and 2.5% emulsion.

Control objects and methods: according to foreign reports, it can control more than 150 species of pests, and garden plants can be used to control aphids, whitefly, caterpillar and other pests. The concentration of 10~2Omg/kg (PPm) has a good effect. However, the effect on mites, weevil and some shell insects is not good, and it can also be used for space retention spraying to control mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches and other pests.

Note: it should not be mixed with Bordeaux solution, stone-sulfur mixture and other alkaline agents. The spray is required to be uniform and thoughtful. After contact with the soil, it is easy to be fixed by organic colloids in the soil, so it is not suitable to control underground pests. Safety protection should be paid attention to when the drug is released, and the drug has irritating allergic reaction to human eyes and skin. (Liu Zhongjian)
