Orchid leaf disease
The leaves of orchids can dry up for unknown reasons and lead to death. Sometimes the leaves will have a little black spot, and some will slowly dry up from the tip of the leaf.
The environment, temperature, sunshine, light and suitability of growing flowers will affect the growth of orchids. Generally, the leaves will have black spots and are infected by fungi or bacteria. If it dries up slowly from the leaf tip, it means that the residue of fertilizer near the root is too high, affecting the absorption of water, and the concentration of fertilization should be reduced.
Edible alkali can cure white silk disease of orchids.
Last year, a pot of Qiusu suffered from white silk disease. Due to the deflection angle of the orchid basin, the hyphae were found to be covered with basin surface. When the current year's grass is about 15 cm high, the base is all rotten and rises as soon as it is pulled out; 100% of the paternal pseudo-corm, the disease spot has gone deep into the bulb; and more than 90% of the ancestral pseudocorm has varying degrees of disease spot. It's hard to see a good hidden bud.
As a rule, this basin of Qiusu, together with the potted soil, should be completely destroyed. But wash the bluegrass and divide it into three groups according to the disease. The first group is a few old grasses that are lucky not to get sick, the second group has disease spots of different sizes in the cortical layer of the bulb, and the third group is discarded objects, and the disease spots have gone deep into the ball meat. Under the inspiration that lime can prevent and cure white silk disease, I chose the additive of edible alkali processing steamed bread. For one and two groups, soak the leaves with 1.5% alkali water for one minute, soak the parts below the base for 20 minutes, then rinse with tap water, dry for 12 hours, and put on the basin respectively. In the third group, I found that the pseudo-corm of a young father grass was as big as a thumb, and there was a light brown spot on the surface. I used my fingernails to remove the carrion until part of the good meat was removed. At this time, the match-fixing has only 2 stroke 3, leaving two leaves and two broken legs, which are also treated with the above method, and another pot is planted. Seven to 10 days after planting, the first and second groups successively issued new buds, and the grass was weak in that year, but it grew into strong grass last spring. In the third group, the remnant plant with only 2 centimeters and 3 balls of flesh unexpectedly grew a new bud, but the overwintergrass, which grew to an inch, also produced a new grass, which grew a little weaker, and now the seedling is more than 20 centimeters tall.
