I. selection of lime

The selection of high quality lime should start from the following two aspects:

1. Visual observation. Through visual inspection, it can be seen that the large pieces are white or slightly yellowish, and the ones without weathering are high-quality lime blocks.

2. Feel. This is very important in the selection of high-quality lime blocks, which feel as light in the hand as possible (compared with other lime blocks of the same size). Those with light weight burn well and have high purity. On the contrary, the heavy ones do not burn fully in the combustion process, and the content of impurities is higher, so it is not desirable.

II. Preparation and use of lime clarifying solution

1. First of all, the high-quality lime block should be soaked or leached into powder form with water, and then the pure lime powder should be paired into an aqueous solution at 1:10 times (the lime powder that has just been dissolved in water should not be taken in a hurry, for the sake of safety, it should be taken out after natural cooling for the sake of safety). After soaking for about 12 hours, the clarified liquid can be carefully taken out. Note that when taking the clarifier, the surface of the clarifier will solidify a thin ice-like crystal. This is the crystal of high purity alkali substance, which is not advisable. In addition, the crystal is not easy to dissolve in the water, once it enters the leaf heart of the tender tissue, it will produce drug damage, and it is easy to block the spray hole, so abandon it.

2. Take the lime clarifying liquid 1GV 2000 times to the water-forming agent, first irrigate the whole basin matrix to permeate in the hot and humid plum rain season, and then spray the whole orchid chamber and orchid field to fully cover the agent, in order to suppress or kill the bacteria that live in the acidic environment in a large area. In this way, using twice at intervals in the hot and humid plum rain season will effectively control the occurrence of stem rot, soft rot and white silk disease. Generally, powdered lime is sprinkled on the ground in order to block the pathogens on the ground, but this operation is highly polluting and easy to pollute the orchid leaves, so it is not advisable.

Matters needing attention:

1. Lime clarifying liquid water solvent is pure alkaline, so it can not be mixed with any acidic pesticides or chemical fertilizers or organic fertilizers.

2. Lime clarification liquid water solvent contains high alkali purity, so it is necessary to make sure that it is more than 2000 times for water, a little more defenseless to water, and must not be reduced at will.

3. This agent is only effective for fungi that like to live in an acidic environment, and the purpose is to "give priority to prevention".
